A week of 07.16-07.20
+
The 2nd week of the Lolling Chair making class at Phillip Lowe's shop.
It's wonderful experience to see how this master to work on furniture making next to him.
++
My chair is done. Except for unexpected cracks on arm rest, it is pretty well done.
I did not have time to applying finish. It will be done after I come back to Boston from Seoul.
The upholstery will be done in the upcoming Upholstery class in late August.

I spent this week at the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts to take a Lolling Chair making class. It is a two week class and this is the first week. The boss Phil, and staff Artie and Todd are the same. Fellow students are Jim and Dana.
++
We went to the beach to have lunch.
+++
Chair making is really fun. So is with these cheerful guys here. I really enjoyed the time.

A week of 07.02-07.06

I spent this week at the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts to take a 5-day inlaying class.
Phil, Jim, Tim, Steven, Artie, Todd
++
Steven and his wife are a very adorable couple.
+++
My inlayed legs.
Inlaying was not perfect for several reasons. However they are not that bad and I have confidence that I can make them better next time.
