Glued up posts, back rail and stretcher.
Dimensioned a crest rail, made mortises for posts on it, and made tenons on the posts.
Dimensioned a splat, made angled tenons on it.

I struggled in making a tambour door locking mechanism and smooth tambour door movement.
I remade locking mechanism hardwares and replaced tongues of the leading edges with ebony.
Now, it is working very nicely.

Lance gave a lecture on extending tables, an interesting topic.

A week of 4.01-4.05

Made a mortise for the splat on the back rail, and laid out and shaped post backs. Made mortises for side stretchers on the posts and checked windings.
I still did not notice that I made mortises for side stretches on the wrong side, which I had to plugged and inlayed and redo again later. ;-)

Made some banding stuff.

A week of 3.25-3.29

Prepared canvas by washing and drying four times and flattening by iron.
Made a tambour gluing jig and glued canvas on the tambour slats.

Started building a Chippendale chair.
Rough dimensioned lumbers.
Finish dimensioned the back rail and made molding on it by a table saw and a router.
Finish dimensioned and shaped posts and made mortises for the back rail.
