We started planing exercise which requires the precision of a (small in the photo) yellow paper along all direction of a practice board.
It measured to be 1.5/1000 inch by my caliper.

The thickness of my shaving is 1/1000 inch.
This exercise asks very careful reading, strategy and planing, and precise tuning of a plane.
