The cabinet and furniture making program is the core of the North Bennet Street School(NBSS) and recognized as one of the premier woodworking schools in the country.

Program schedule:
2 years(72 weeks or 2340 class hours).
Classes meet 8:00-15:00(shops open 15:00-17:00), Monday-Friday, September through May.

2. session 2 (18 wks)
- tool chest
- proficiency test
3. session 3 (36 weeks)
- project assignments for graduation
- advanced benchwork
- machine lubrication and maintenance
